There are thousands of resort condos, villas, and cottages to choose from in the U.S., Mexico and beyond.*
2. What makes SNAP TRAVELSM accommodations different from a hotel?
Whether traveling with family or friends, SnapTravel.com offers spacious accommodations including resort condos, villas, and cottages—giving you the room to relax, spread out and even come together. Enjoy the comforts of home which may include a kitchen, washer/dryer, multiple bedrooms or the amenities of a resort, like a spa or workout facility. Please note that amenities vary due to location and size of accommodation.
3. Are there any handicapped-accessible accommodations?
There are many handicapped-accessible accommodations. But because needs vary greatly, and each property is different, it is best to contact one of our Vacation Guides before booking at 1-800-338-7799.
4. Do I have to stay for a full week?
Most of our accommodations are booked in seven-day increments. You are free to check out at any time during the seven day period. Keep in mind you will still be paying for the full week. For vacation rentals in Italy and France (Cuendet properties) as well as, the UK (English Country Cottages properties) you must notify the owner in advance if you will be checking out early.
5. Do I have to book from weekend to weekend, or can I choose a mid-week day to begin my vacation?
Vacations at most resorts are booked with Friday, Saturday or Sunday start dates. Check-in for vacation rentals in Italy and France (Cuendet properties) is Saturday only, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm local time. For rentals in the UK (English Country Cottages) Friday and Saturday are the standard start days for most weekly bookings, check in starts at 3:00 pm local time. Check out for both UK (English Country Cottages) and Italy/France (Cuendet) is 10:00 am local time. If you will be arriving late check-in please contact the property manager/owner to make arrangements.
6. When can I get the best availability?
Resorts are in highest demand during school calendar vacation dates. So if you are flexible with your travel dates, you may be able to book some great off-peak deals. Helpful hint: You may find the best deals/availability at rentals in Italy and France (Cuendet properties) October through April.
7. Is the price shown per person or per unit?
All prices are shown per unit, which means it is the same price for one person up to and including the maximum occupancy of that accommodation, exclusive of taxes. Other charges may apply.
8. Do I have to register to book a trip?
If this is your first booking, the booking process will allow you to book and register all in one easy step. If you have already registered you only need to log-in before booking to pull up your account information. It is imperative that you provide an accurate email address when registering/booking as that is where we send confirmation of your booking. In addition, it is also recommended that you provide an accurate phone number so that we can contact you in case we need to contact you in regards to your reservation. As a registered user you will receive periodic updates and specials via email.
9. When I’m ready to book my trip, where do I enter the promo code?
When you are in the process of booking a vacation, enter your promo code in the “Discount Code” box. Promotional codes, when applicable, enable you to enjoy extra savings.
10. Can I just make a deposit or must I pre-pay for the entire trip?
All vacations must be pre-paid in full.
11. Will taxes or other fees be charged to my account at the resort?
Taxes and a non-refundable $40 booking fee are included in the final price. Additional fees for housekeeping and other amenities vary by resort and will be assessed upon check-in. For vacation rentals in Italy and France (Cuendet properties) the price includes taxes, however, you will need to provide a cash deposit, as well as your housekeeping fees, in Euros at the time of check-in. The deposit will be given back to you at the end of your stay, minus any extra fees, if applicable, as well as any amount necessary to cover any damages that may have been made to the house or the furniture by you or your guests. Vacation rentals in the UK (English Country Cottages) for the most part, do not require a security deposit. If the property you are looking to book does require a deposit, it will be mentioned within the property description, or you may call our Vacation Guides for more information on your specific rental property: 1-800-338-7799.
12. What are my payment options?
SNAP TRAVEL accepts credit cards from most countries, however prices are always charged in U.S. Dollars.
13. How do I check on a reservation?
To check on a reservation you may either call us at: 1-800-338-7799 or log-in to our website to review your booking under your registered account.
14. How do I receive confirmation?
You will receive confirmation via email. Please add: noreply@vacationrentals4you.com to your email safe list to safeguard your confirmation email from being marked as spam. Also make sure that you enter the correct email address when booking your accommodations. For vacation rentals in Italy and France (Cuendet properties) you will receive both a confirmation via email as well as a rental voucher. Please make sure to print out both documents with you, you will need them for check-in. For vacation rentals in the UK you will receive an acknowledgement as well as a final confirmation. The acknowledgement is not a final confirmation but just an acknowledgement of your intended purchase. Within 24 business hours you will receive a confirmation. Please make sure you receive the final confirmation, this will verify your purchase and also provide directions and other critical information. Please print the confirmation and bring it with you. 15. How do I cancel a reservation?
In the event of a cancellation, call 1-800-338-7799.
16. Is there a cancellation fee? What’s the refund policy?
For all properties (excluding Holiday Network Franchise, Cuendet, and English Country Cottages properties) our cancellation policy is as follows:
- If a cancellation is received three (3) days or more prior to travel date, we will refund one hundred percent (100%) of the total rental fee, less the booking fee.
- If a cancellation is received two (2) days or less prior to the travel date, no refund will be made for any part of the rental fee.
For English Country Cottages and Cuendet properties, the cancellation policy is as follows:
- If a cancellation is received ninety one (91) days or prior to check-in date, we will refund one hundred percent (100%) of the total rental fee, less the booking fee.
- If a cancellation is received between sixty-one (61) days and ninety (90) days prior to the check-in date, we will refund fifty percent (50%) of the total rental fee, less the booking fee.
- If a cancellation is received between thirty-one (31) and sixty (60) days prior to the check-in date, we will refund twenty five percent (25%) of the total rental fee, less the booking fee.
- If a cancellation is received thirty (30) days or less prior to the check-in date, no refund will be made for any part of the rental fee.
No refunds will be given for no-shows or early check-outs. The property is not authorized to make any exceptions.
17. How do I hold a reservation?
We allow you to hold an accommodation for 24 hours. After you've searched for availability and found a week you would like to place on hold, click on the "Hold This Week for 24 hours" link. If you do not either return to our site within 24 hours to confirm your week(s) or call one of our Vacation Guides, the hold will automatically be released. Some of our properties, such as those from UK Cottages cannot be put on hold.
18. How do I release a unit on hold?
After you log in,go to your “Profile” screen, and locate the week you are holding under “My Holds”. Click on “Cancel” next to that week to release the hold.
19. How do I confirm a reservation on hold?
After you log in,bargo to your “Profile” screen, and locate the week you are holding under “My Holds”. Then click “Book Now”. You will then be asked to enter your payment information. A confirmation will be emailed to the email address provided in your registration. This confirmation must be printed and presented upon check-in

22. Where do I find special discounts or search for last minute deals?
By registering you will receive emails about special offers. Additionally, you may also visit www.vacationrentals4you/lastminuteescapes for deals up to 30 days in advance, starting at $329 USD*/week.
23. How old do I have to be to book a vacation?
The person booking the travel must be at least 21 years of age or older. The resort or property manager may otherwise refuse access to the reserved accommodation.
24. Do discount codes work on all properties?
Each discount code reflects a specific promotion and is only applicable to the property and/or time-frame established for that promotion.
25. How is your site secured?
The security of all information associated with our registrants is an important concern to us. We exercise care in providing secure transmission of your information from your computer to our servers. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100 percent secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your information. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we use industry standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers. However, perfect security does not exist on the Internet.

28. Will I need a car?
The majority of our properties in the UK, Italy and France are in the countryside where most public transportation is unavailable. We highly recommend that you rent a car for the duration of your stay, in addition to sightseeing, you often may need a car just to get to the grocery store. If you are staying in a city you most likely will not need a car.
